WUI (Writing under the influence)

Somebody once said we are all Americans, sometimes born in the wrong places.
On a warm autumn day in 1986, while enjoying beer with my college buddies,
I decided to join my new homeland.

I've come to appreciate the ideals that helped create this great country.
Liberalism, political-correctness, multiculturalism and moral equivalence
are destroying it.

Every soldier who dies in Afghanistan or Iraq or even in an accident anywhere else is worth more than the Chappaquiddick Ted. I'm not missing him and strangely enough I hope that his corrupt request to reverse his corrupt request to change how a successor of a senator from Tax-achusetts is chosen bites him in his dead ass. I hope that the democrat who will replace him will turn to be less of an asshole.

Government: what is it good for?

One of the best explanation of the utter failure governments are I've seen.

Losers of the day

Can't take the heat?

When Bush tried to actually do something worthwhile, like saving us from the inevitable bankruptcy thanks to one of FDR's biggest scheme (a.k.a. Social Security) the liberals were howling because they didn't want us to keep a small percentage of our own money in our own private accounts.

Now that Obama wants to steal our children's money to enslave even more Americans so they vote Democrats for generations and some of us try to stop him, the same liberals cry foul.

Now you know how it feels.

At least we ere right. You are just thieves.

This dog is smarter than many Americans

I'm trying to stay sane so I'm refraining from writing as much as I can resit. But I've had conversations with some friends about what Obama is trying to do and how it compares to the country I left 22 years ago. As I was explaining to people the differences and similarities I was getting very angry because there were more of the latter then the former. It doesn't matter how one defines the system we will have in this country should Obama succeed. What matters is how many liberties we will lose. Because, after all, the left is about taking our liberties for our own good. And unfortunately, after discussing the issue, I've come to the following realization: unless Americans vote Republican in 2010 it's time to pack.

This dog prefers to go hungry than accept free food.

Every time I go to WinCo, I lose hope.
